This full size chunk of the Earth is a brown acrylic resin cast taken from a ploughed field. Within the Exhibition layout, this ground sample, once straightened up and framed, as a kind of 'landscape painting', sets up Nature as a work of Art. A detached object on the floor, this piece of earth takes on the appearance of a sculpture. Here the Artist questions our notion of work, between labour and artistic creations.
