Since 2018, the Galerie des Galeries has been offering a series of edited objects developed in collaboration with the guest artists and around the exhibition presented.

Summer collection, a heritage edition

Galeries Lafayette is a surprising mix of eras and styles that have been able to evolve and adapt to trends and lifestyles, forging close ties with the designers of their time for over a century. We are pleased to present a limited edition heritage collection based on the great Galeries Lafayette advertising campaigns.

This collection was created with Les Mouettes Vertes, a company that is committed, responsible and ethical.

OBJETS USUELS x WE DO NOT WORK ALONE

Since 2015, WE DO NOT WORK ALONE has been designing everyday objects in collaboration with contemporary artists.
On the occasion of the Savoir Faire Savoir exhibition, the Galeries Lafayette team offered WE DO NOT WORK ALONE carte blanche to invite artists to work in the manner of the Maîtrise and thus build up a collection of everyday objects published in small series and made by French living heritage companies.

GGSV x Galerie des Galeries

In the context of the exhibition, the GGSV studio invited Lætitia Paviani, author of essays, critical fictions and theoretical adventures for contemporary art, to write the eponymous tale for this exhibition. The book Demain, le vaisseau chimère brings together this text and previously unpublished drawings and visuals by the GGSV studio.

The book is on sale exclusively on the Galerie des Galeries e-shop, as well as a selection of derivative objects, created from Studio GGSV motifs appearing in the exhibition: two pouches and a tote bag.

Collaborations x Galerie des Galeries

As part of the Lang/Baumann exhibition at Galeries Lafayette, the Galerie des Galeries is offering for sale a duo of pins and a clutch bag, inspired by the installation in the exhibition space.

For the 160th anniversary of the BHV MARAIS, and in collaboration with Objet Sens Fonction, the artist Jean-Luc Moulène proposes Bleu de Costume; an allegory of the metamorphoses of the world of work which ties the typical "blue" of work clothes to the cut of the suit of working executives.
