Since the beginning of the 20th century, the Group has made the creation and distribution of fashion a core part of its identity by opening its own clothing workshops. The Group was the first to import the function of fashion director into France, and it also distinguished itself very early on by multiplying its collaborations with major fashion figures: Jean Patou, Madeleine Vionnet, Sonia Rykiel, Azzedine Alaïa, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, agnès b., and Jean-Paul Gaultier.
More recently, by inviting the young winners of the ANDAM and Villa Noailles prizes to design capsule collections for the department stores', the Group is perpetuating its founding commitment: to give emerging talents the means to produce and develop the creations of tomorrow, while allowing a wide audience to discover them.
