For the third consecutive year, the Lafayette Champs Élysées Galleries join Urban Art Fair and are pleased to invite Arnaud Liard to the department store for a white card, which will take place from April 15 to 28, 2025.

Emerging from the Parisian graffiti scene, Arnaud Liard explores several fields of research: abstract, figuration and sculpture. He is interested in the randomness of destruction, the destroyed architectural landscapes, On the occasion of this white card, the artist invites us to dive into a hypnotic universe, where the bright colors draw landscapes of another dimension and another in our imaginary world a fascinating parallel, brought about by the architecture of the place.

La Mémoire des lieux is a monumental sculpture resembling a dazzling meteorite. The wooden structure is covered with an aluminum sheet and a laminated canvas sculpted like stone, spray-painted by Arnaud Liard.

Urban Art Fair

The first international urban art fair founded by Yannick Bosseo, Urban Art Fair presents under the Halle du Carreau du Temple, in the heart of Paris, around thirty French and international galleries. Over two hundred artists are gathering from April 24 to 27, 2025 for the ninth edition of the fair.

Arnaud Liard

Coming from the Parisian graffiti scene, Arnaud Liard explores several areas of research: abstraction, figuration and sculpture. He is interested in the arbitraryness of destruction, and in unstructured architectural landscapes.

After completing his studies as a sign painter, he turned to the creation of murals in the late 80s. In 2001, he co-founded the TRBDSGN collective with the artists Hobz and onde. Conceived as a multidisciplinary laboratory, the TBDSGN studio explores the worlds of object design, graphic design and scenography. For Arnaud Liard this period marks the beginning of his pictorial research on canvas. This led him to explore several fields of abstract, figurative and sculptural research fileds that he will later call "Lesthétique du Chaos" (aesthetic of chaos).

Arnaud Liard's works reflect his interest in architecture, the city and its materials, which he began photographing as a teenager. An eternal explorer, he moves from figuration to abstraction according to his inspirations, each time taking a fresh look at his immediate environment, as subject, muse and model.
