Aurélien Froment
Born in 1976 in Angers, France. He lives and works in Dublin, Irelande.
Aurélien Froment employs a broad range of media, including installation, photography, sculpture and video, to examine a personal world that questions the semantic power of images and the way they take shape over time and in space. Constructed around the concept of narrative, inspired by film and collective memory ; Froment’s works spark a dialogue among themselves, like a story without end. They place the viewer in an open scenario in which the images constantly blur the line between fiction and documentary.
