“With Reflets, porcelain moves from the horizontal plane of the dining table to the vertical plane of the wall. It is no longer used to set a table, but to compose an interior. The project plays with different eras: from the psyche to the triptych mirror, from grandmother’s porcelain to contemporary ornamentation. We seek out something old-fashioned, but without confining it to a setting that’s too rigid. We strip away its overly pressed tablecloth to transform it into a freer object, one that is both domestic and theatrical.ˮ
