With its latest project, Galerie des Galeries, a venue dedicated to a cross-disciplinary approach to today’s creative arts, is exploring the synergy between contemporary art and music.

From May 28 to August 23, 2014, guest artist Xavier Veilhan will present an exhibition area that operates in two different modes: “ON” and “OFF”. When “OFF”, the public will have a chance to stroll through a space entirely made up of furniture from department store luxury brands corners. When “ON”, it’s showtime! A series of concerts will feature music from various labels: Versatile, Entreprise, Record Makers and Tricatel.
The multifaceted work of Xavier Veilhan, a leading light of the art scene, examines historical and contemporary modes of representation. In 2009, it was the focus of a major exhibition at the Versailles Palace. In recent years, he has increasingly explored the world of performance and show business by collaborating with Sébastien Tellier, Air and experimental composer Eliane Radigue. Their joint creations provide spectators with a multi-sensory experience by combining the powerful emotions of music with the formal perfection of his exhibition spaces.
