White neon letters stand out from the wall in childish handwriting that takes on a disturbing aspect with the words they spell out, Rise of the poisoned youth. Borrowed from a song title by the American hardcore group Terror, this nihilistic affirmation gives anguished voice to the violence of a youth that has come unstrung. This cry, falling somewhere between a manifestation of ecologicaleconomic fear and a mysterious threat of some kind, is the first blow in a terribly dark appraisal of the world today.
