Born in 1968.
Florence Doléac explores the tension between production and exhibition —with answers that are both facetious and poetic— as well as the concept of functionality and its exact opposite: impracticality. Her proposals challenge established rules and ways of perceiving the world around us. As she creates incongruous situations, she forces us to use our imagination, injecting levity and grace into an all-too stilted reality. Florence Doléac was a member of the RADI designers collective from 1993 to 2003. Her work was shown at villa Noailles, Frac Aquitaine and Galerie Jousse Entreprise.
