Rolf Ekroth x Galeries Lafayette

For the third consecutive year, the collaboration between Galeries Lafayette and the International Fashion and Photography Festival in Hyères is extended by giving carte blanche to one of the competition finalists to create a capsule collection with the Galeries Lafayette brand. Both a mentoring programme and an exercise focused on the challenges of production and distribution on a department store scale, this collaboration allows the young designer to create a capsule collection in the image of his or her creative universe that will have seduced the Galeries Lafayette jury of experts.

For the capsule designed in collaboration with Galeries Lafayette, Rolf has imagined a collection that is faithful to his creative universe: "I am always inspired by historical events, particularly sports documentaries", he explains. From the screen, he extracts images and patterns that he mixes with technical materials to create contemporary silhouettes. This line of parkas, capes and sneakers is no exception to the rule and gives a result mixing sportswear and elegance, right in the spirit of the times.
