Born in 1984 in Paris, where she lives and works.
Lena Hilton’s painting is characterized by its economy of means: the three primary colors, water, frame-mounted plain cotton canvas. The artist explores questions around the space defined by the painting’s surface. She searches for the point of evidence, tension or fusion between what is painted and the style of painting. Lena Hilton’s work was exhibited during the 59th edition of the Montrouge art fair in 2014 and she was a guest artist of Windows on Talent, an exhibition that take place in the windows of 55 Galeries Lafayette stores in February 2016.
